Firstly, if you are ill, you will see the doctor the same day,
with no questions asked; no 'grilling' on the phone or at the
reception desk; no being squeezed in the end; no seeing the nurse
first and maybe having to come back and see the doctor later;
no being offered an appointment in two weeks time!
Secondly,
whilst there may occasionally be a wait, we find that:
a) our patients
do stagger their arrival at the surgery.
b) even
surgeries with appointments systems find that overrunning, hence
waiting, is the norm.
Lastly, the doctors feel it makes for a more relaxed consultation,
often being able to give the patient the time and attention their
condition demands, without one eye on the clock.
Please note that we also offer specialist clinics, some of which
do require appointment. Please visit Special
Clinics for further information.
For
the times of surgeries/clinics please visit Surgery
Hours.
